About Arise Counseling

Arise Counseling is a counseling practice in Dallas, Texas, with sessions in person and by video. Most of our work is with relationships and sexual health: couples, infidelity and betrayal, sex addiction and the partners it affects, and sexual concerns. Trauma therapy and EMDR support that work.

“The quality of your life ultimately depends on the quality of your relationships.”

Esther Perel

Why we do this work

Many of us find our lives shaped by the relationships we have, or don't have. Whether it's past experiences, present circumstances or hopes for the future, it's common to find barriers between where we are and where we want to be.

Our work is about lifting those barriers, so your life and your relationships can be richer and more meaningful. Whether you're interested in sex therapy, relationship counseling or individual exploration, we can work together toward the life you want.

How we work

Whether this is your first time in therapy or your tenth, starting can feel daunting. It begins with a free 10–15 minute consultation call, where you can share your hopes for therapy, ask questions and learn about the process.

Therapy is a collaborative process. Your therapist is there to guide and help, and your own preparation, effort and commitment to your well-being are the most important part.
