Who it's for
People working through complex trauma or a recent distressing event, people in weekly therapy who feel stuck on a particular issue, and busy professionals, parents or people who travel and find weekly sessions hard to fit in.
Common concerns
- Complex or layered trauma
- A single, specific distressing event
- Feeling stuck in weekly therapy
- A schedule that makes weekly sessions hard
What to expect
Moe will work with you to design a schedule that respects your goals, your history and your current capacity. Intensives come in three lengths.
A half day (3 to 4 hours) suits a single, specific distressing event, or someone in weekly therapy who feels stuck on one issue.
Two to three days allow sustained focus on more complex, layered or multiple traumatic memories.
Four days are for comprehensive trauma processing: extensive histories or multiple targets.
How we work
Intensives keep the therapeutic momentum going. With no week-long gaps, you don't have to re-stabilize every week between sessions, and you can go deeper with fewer distractions.
Because there is no stop-start, an Intensive can mean fewer total hours of therapy than weekly sessions.
